将目录下的 vbootmp.sys，copy到system32/drivers，v1,1即可升级，感觉速度好像快了，哪位有兴趣可以和1.1比较一下

刚才试验了一下 HDtune测速与原来相比一样的，初步感觉很失望，本来想2.0可能会提速不小

v2 performs much better than v1.1.

You can try this: install windows 7 to a vhd using 2.0 and 1.1, and compare the time it takes. 2.0 takes about 15mins, whole 1.1 takes 26mins.

yes, disk i/o is improved a lot, now using 16 threads and uses much fewer memory. You should note difference on Windows 7/8/vista.

the performance is close to native disk.

We may call that product as mBoot, should be avaible late this year.

It's a memory boot and memory based shadowing system. Do you want to use it to improve performance? or else?

mBoot is more like Ram boot, it's not disk cache. It loads all required files to memory. Since all files i/o are done inside memory, you can protect a volume. After reboot, all changes are lost except pass through files.

驱动文件好像不是这个吧？

three drivers: vbootmp.sys, vbootfs.sys and vbootbus.sys

xp ia32 只copy vbootmp.sys 就可以吧

win7提升性能明显，那xp的呢

vbootctl update 时会出现警告，晚上 我把图片贴上你看一下

我只好在VHD里面，直接copy，重启的

实机安装 XP和2003 均告不能 复制系统文件  而失败

看来本次只是针对win7的更新。

用1.1的性能已经很不错了

win7为啥要vboot呢？win7原生支持vhd镜像引导，性能与真实磁盘几乎没有差别，vboot能超过？

1.win7原生vhd只支持企业版及以上版本
2.要引导win7原生vhd还得有bootmgr、bcd等文件，部署阶段的话，bootmgr、bcd等文件还得在激活分区上
虽然vboot的性能不太可能超过win7原生的，但可以让win7的引导与部署变得更简单

对我来说，对xp的优化最重要，装个win7，vboot一个xp是主要需求

you can test, vboot  2.0 performs better than Windows 7 VHD, at least about the same. We will improve it further to beat windows 7 VHD.

Xp and windows 7 use the same vbootmp.sys, so xp performance is improved too, and very less memory use.
